State Senate One Step Closer To Legalizing Sunday Alcohol Sales

The Public Policy Committee in the Senate is in favor of passing a law that would legalize Sunday alcohol sales in Indiana.

Now that the committee has voted unanimously to make carryout sales of alcoholic beverages legal between noon and 8 p.m. on Sundays, the bill will go before the full Senate.

A second reading of the bill is expected next week.

It’s supported by an agreement made between the Indiana Association of Beverage Retailers and the Indiana Retail Council in November.
