Knox Co. Health Officials Report Flu Death of Daviess Co. Woman

The Knox County Health Department confirms a second flu death in the County.

Dr. Ralph Jacqumain reports an 81 year-old Daviess County woman died from the flu over the weekend.

The state says 167 people have died from the flu in Indiana so far this flu season.

Those most vulnerable are those over 65 years old.

Other risk factors for flu-related death include heart disease, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
