Mayor Pete Buttigieg Unveils One-Trillion Dollar Economic Plan

South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg is unveiling his one-trillion-dollar economic plan that includes funding for affordable housing, education and child care.

The 2020 Democratic presidential candidate would allot 700-billion to child care, which includes making early learning up to age five free for low-income families.

Buttigieg will also spend 430-billion on affordable housing to give more than seven-million families across the U.S. a home.

Additionally, the South Bend Mayor plans to provide free tuition for public universities to families who make up to 100-thousand-dollars annually.

The plan also calls for more investment in historically black colleges and minority institutions, and it proposes passing a 15-dollar minimum wage.
