Washington Police arrested a Washington man overnight following an incident reported at a home in the 800-block of Axtell Avenue.
Officers claim Jeremy Padgett had allegedly entered a home without permission, and hit a man living there. He then left the house; authorities found him a short distance later.
Padgett is charged with residential entry, battery, and public intoxication. He was booked into the Daviess County Security Center.
