Evansville Seeing More Cases of Domestic Violence

Evansville police are seeing more runs for domestic violence than usual.

Captain Andy Chandler tells WFIE they are seeing more calls for family disputes, something many health experts predicted might happen across the country as people are staying home because of the coronavirus.

Chandler says not all runs are resulting in arrests.

Experts say the financial struggles coupled with being confined in a home for a long period of time are a breeding ground for conflict to arise.
