Freeze on Evictions, Foreclosures and Utility Shut Offs Extended

The governor’s pause on things like evictions, foreclosures, and utility shut offs has been extended.

Governor Eric Holcomb’s executive order extends the pause until July 1st.

This gives anyone who cannot pay their rent the ability to stay in their homes.

The order does have an exception that lets landlords file for emergency evictions, only for permit evictions with immediate and serious injury, loss, or property damage.
