Based on claims data and industry estimates, 1 in 103 Indiana drivers had a run-in with an animal on a road, with more than 70% of those crashes involving deer.
October is the second-highest month for animal collisions, according to State Farm.
November is the top month for these kinds of crashes and December is number three.
