Southern Indiana Judge Rules for Utility In Evansville House Explosion

A lawsuit against a southern Indiana utility for a deadly 2017 house explosion has been tossed out of court.

A judge on Wednesday ruled in favor of CenterPoint Energy, saying the people suing the company failed to prove the utility was to blame for the house explosion in Evansville.

Two people died in the explosion, while three others including a 10-year-old boy were hurt.
