Impaired Driver Arrested after being Stopped on I-69 for Driving 104 mph.

Indiana State Police arrested an Evansville man Friday evening after he was pulled over for driving 104 mph on Interstate 69 in Pike County.

Police searched the vehicle after detecting a strong odor of raw marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.

That search turned up about 90 grams of marijuana.

In addition, the driver, 31-year-old Sergio Weathers of Evansville, was found to have a blood alcohol content of .15% and to be under the influence of marijuana.

Weathers was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and Possession of Marijuana with a Prior Conviction.
