It could be a while before people in and around Evansville can stop wearing masks in county buildings.
Vanderburgh County’s Public Health Administrator, Joe Gries says he wants to see far fewer coronavirus cases before he rolls back the county’s mask mandate.
Right now, Gries says Vanderburgh County is seeing an 11 percent positive rate.
He wants to see that under 10 percent before he’ll allow folks at the county building to drop their masks.
The county has been under a mask order since August 12th.
