The Illinois State Police is urging drivers and farmers to be careful during the fall harvest season.
Trooper Josh Robinson says drivers need to be patient and share the road.
He says give big farm equipment plenty of space and be cautious when passing.
Robinson says farmers should make sure all reflectors and flashing lights are clean so there is maximum visibility.
They are also advised to stay as far to the right of the road as possible and to move off the roadway if there is a traffic back-up.
