The Pride Center of Terre Haute is suing two Indiana State University administrators after funding for students working at the center was terminated.

The ACLU of Indiana filed the suit on behalf of the center in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana on Monday.

The Pride Center is a non-profit that relies on student workers from Indiana State University who are paid through work-study programs.

Indiana State University told the Pride Center the termination of that funding was a decision made based on guidance on anti-discrimination practices from the U.S. Department of Justice.
