Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes says Indiana’s Breast Cancer Awareness special group recognition license plate has resulted in nearly $165,000 being granted to the hospital over the past nineteen years.
Recently, the Breast Care Center was granted over $6,140 to be used to pay for screening mammograms, diagnostic exams, ultrasounds, breast MRIs and breast biopsies for uninsured and underinsured patients.
The mission of the Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust. is to increase awareness and improve access to breast cancer screening, diagnosis and support services throughout Indiana.
