Governor Mike Braun and State AG Todd Rokita are moving to strip commercial driver’s licenses from undocumented immigrants following a string of fatal crashes.
A new amendment to House Bill 1200 would mandate license revocations and slap trucking companies with fines up to 50-thousand dollars for hiring unlicensed drivers.
Officials say the move follows a recent audit that identified hundreds of illegally licensed drivers currently on Indiana roads.
