Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Detected in Crawford Co.

The Indiana Board of Animal Health reports that a commercial egg laying operation in Crawford County has been quarantined due to the detection of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza.

The flock size is nearly 50,000 birds.

A 10-kilometer Control Area includes portions of Crawford and Dubois Counties.

A 20-kilometer Surveillance Zone also includes portions of Crawford, Dubois, and Perry counties.
