Gas and Diesel Prices Continue to Soar Due to Iran Conflict

Fuel prices continue their rapid rise due to the ongoing conflict in Iran.

The Triple-A Motor Club says the average price of gas in Indiana on Wednesday stood at $3.15 a gallon, 15¢ higher than Tuesday and 5¢ lower than Wednesday’s national average of $3.20 per gallon.

It was also 33¢ higher than a week ago, 28¢ higher than a month ago, and 30¢ higher than a year ago.

Triple-A says the average price of diesel fuel in Indiana on Wednesday was $4.14 a gallon, 14¢ higher than Tuesday and 31¢ higher than a week ago.

It was also 42¢ higher than a month ago and 49¢ higher than a year ago.

And the average EV charging price in Indiana on Wednesday was 39¢ per kilowatt hour, 1¢ higher than Tuesday and the same as Wednesday’s national average.
