After three years of planning, Knox County Circuit Court’s Veterans’ Treatment Court has received provisional certification from the State of Indiana.
Judge Monica Gilmore notes this reflects broad community support for adding another Problem-Solving Court.
The VTC offers eligible veterans wrap-around services for at least 12 months to aid program completion.
Provisional certification lasts through September 2026, after which a site visit will determine final certification for up to three years.
Applications for admission to the program are now being accepted.
Applications are open to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces with honorable discharge, who reside in Knox County and are at least 18 years old.
