Indiana State Police say a juvenile is facing attempted murder and several other charges following a dispute between two groups of juveniles at Rainbow Lake in Derby located in Perry County.
Perry County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the location Saturday night concerning a report of shots fired.
They found two individuals had suffered apparent gunshot wounds while a third suffered minor injuries from broken glass.
Deputies located two vehicles involved in the shooting leaving the area.
A male juvenile was arrested and later taken to a juvenile facility.
In addition to Attempted Murder, the juvenile suspect is charged with Aggravated Battery, Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, Criminal Recklessness, Pointing a Firearm, Dealing in Marijuana, and Possession of Marijuana.
Two of the three injured juveniles were taken to area hospitals.
