Indiana Republicans have changed their minds about redrawing the state’s congressional map.
State Senate Republicans now say they plan to convene in December to vote on redistricting.
This is a change from a previous decision earlier this month when Indiana Senate leaders said there were not enough votes for a new congressional map.
The Senate now says it will meet December 8th, and the House says they will consider redistricting on Monday.
President Trump had been critical of Indiana Republicans who were opposed to redistricting and accused them of possibly “depriving Republicans of a majority in the House.”
