Indiana University will lift the restrictions it placed on Bloomington fraternities starting December first.
The university notified fraternities of its decision on November 20th.
Earlier this month, IU barred fraternities from hosting social events, large gatherings, philanthropy events, events with alcohol, tailgates, brotherhood activities, and new member education programs.
Fraternities in good standing can resume all social activities next month, though they must follow rules set by IU’s Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life.
IU imposed the restrictions after reports of hazing at multiple fraternities.
The university issued cease and desist orders to Phi Kappa Psi, Alpha Epsilon Pi, and Tau Epsilon Phi.
