A new congressional map for the state of Indiana is being proposed at the Statehouse.

The map posted on the Indiana House Republicans website would redraw all nine congressional districts in the state.

A bill that aims to make the map law was introduced in the Indiana House Monday.

If passed by the full House, the measure would then need Indiana Senate approval.

Meanwhile, Hoosiers who oppose redistricting are speaking out.

Hundreds gathered at the Indiana Statehouse on Monday afternoon.
Demonstrators chanted in opposition of a newly proposed map which would redraw all congressional maps in the state.
Some of the protesters traveled across the state to make their voices heard.
