The Pike County Prosecutor’s Office reports that four Petersburg residents face charges after a search at 63-93 North State Road 57.
The search warrant was issued when a deputy detected burnt marijuana while serving court papers.
37-year-old Brandy Davis denied a consent search but did admit to smoking marijuana in the home with a three-year-old present.
Deputies found drugs, poor animal conditions, neglected pet areas, and insect infestations.
Police also learned from 40-year-old Keith Kingsley that he organized an Easter egg hunt Sunday where eggs were hidden in the yard for children and marijuana-filled eggs were hidden in trees for adults.
Davis is charged with Neglect of a Dependent, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, and Possession of Marijuana.
Kingsley, and 40-year-old Sherry Sue Dillon, are each charged with Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Dealing in Marijuana.
18-year-old Jalon Reyes is charged with Possession of Marijuana.
