The Indiana Department of Transportation says that after over a year of operation, the reduced conflict intersection at U.S. 41 and County Road 100 West in Gibson County is showing a 93% reduction in crashes.
IN-DOT says that since installation, crash data has reported no Fatal or injury crashes and a significant drop in hard braking.
In addition, 3,000 cars per day no longer need to stop at a stoplight at that intersection.
