Washington Catholic Schools Receive $250 Teaching Innovator Grant for Stem Challenge Stations

Our Community Foundation has awarded a $250 second-semester Teaching Innovator Grant to Washington Catholic Schools to support Stem Challenge Stations: Building Imagination Through Hands-On Learning.

Washington Catholic Teacher, Jodi Pickett, accepted the award and was named a Teaching Innovator.

The STEM Challenge Stations created in her 6th-grade inclusive classroom provide students with space to collaborate, problem-solve, and think creatively.
