A Pike County Circuit Court Jury found a Petersburg woman Guilty Thursday of Dealing in and Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
The jury deliberated for about 45 minutes before returning the verdict against 60-year-old Bonita Kay Wiscaver.
The Pike County Prosecutor’s Office says the charges arose from the execution of a search warrant on July 9th of last year at 18-11 East Alford Street in Petersburg, a residence that abuts Petersburg Elementary School property.
Pike County Sheriff’s deputies and Indiana State Police found over 8 grams of crystal methamphetamine packaged in baggies inside a camper located at the rear of the property.
Wiscaver faces up to 30 years in prison when she is sentenced on May 18th.
