An admitted rapist who committed several sexual assaults while he attended Indiana University will not serve any prison time.
Gregory Gabler was instead sentenced to probation for six years after he pled guilty in Monroe Circuit Court to a felony charge of criminal confinement resulting in bodily injury.
Two felonies for rape against Gabler were dropped at part of his plea deal.
Gabler will be allowed to be at his home in Florida during probation and cannot have any contact with the victim.
He also has to perform 200 hours of community service.
