The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says organizations in 18 Indiana counties will receive nearly $1.3M in grants to fund 21 lake, river, and watershed land treatment projects through DNR’s Lake and River Enhancement, or LARE, program.
Daviess County received $90,000 for sediment removal at West Boggs Lake.
Sullivan County received $75,000 for sediment removal and $70,000 for shoreline stabilization at Sullivan Lake.
And Gibson County received $13,800 for aquatic vegetation management at New Lake.
