The streets of downtown Jasper come alive today as the 48th annual Jasper Strassenfest officially gets underway, welcoming residents and visitors for four days of German heritage, entertainment, food, and community traditions.
The celebration begins this evening with opening ceremonies at 6:00 p.m. at the Willkommen Stage, marking the official start of the festival.
This year’s Strassenfest carries the theme “Threads of History, Patterns of Progress,” recognizing America’s 250th birthday while highlighting the history and traditions that have shaped the Jasper community.
