A Jasper man detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement has returned home after spending more than 40 days in custody.
Angel Hernandez was detained in July after a traffic stop.
His wife said he was already working toward becoming a U.S. citizen.
Hernandez came to the U.S. from Mexico when he was 2 and has spent most of his life in Jasper.
Community members held a welcome-home celebration Sunday at Jasper Jaycees Park.
