The Indiana Environmental Health Association has named Karl Glaze of the Daviess County Health Department its Environmental Health Specialist of the Year.
The award recognizes outstanding contributions to environmental health and public welfare.
Glaze has played a key role in shaping state policies on on-site septic systems and has been a leader in developing regulations for mine-spoil ground septic systems.
Glaze has served as an Environmental Health Specialist with the Daviess County Health Department for more than 13 years.
