Amazon began operations Friday at its new 104,000-square-foot delivery station in Vincennes.
The facility is now delivering packages to customers throughout the region.
The delivery station is expected to create about 170 jobs, along with additional driving opportunities through Amazon’s partner programs.
Amazon’s frontline fulfillment and transportation employees earn an average starting base wage of nearly $24 per hour, with total compensation exceeding $32 per hour when benefits are included.
