Operation Next addresses advanced manufacturing skill gaps.
It prepares service members, National Guard and Reservists, veterans, and dependents for technical certification in three to six months.
Classes begin January 2027 at VU’s 14 campuses and training hubs, including Plainfield, Lebanon, Fort Branch, and mobile units.
Students can earn nationally recognized credentials in industrial maintenance, CNC machining, robotics, and smart building controls.
DOD SkillBridge approval allows eligible service members to train free.
