A University of Evansville Public Safety officer was hurt over the weekend while responding to a fight at an on-campus fraternity house.
It happened early Saturday morning.
University spokesperson Noah Alatza says the school is aware of the incident and is cooperating with the Evansville Police Department as it investigates.
In a statement, Alatza said the safety of the campus community remains a top priority, and the university will release more information as appropriate.
There’s no word yet on the officer’s condition or on whether anyone has been arrested.
