Lawrence County Memorial Hospital has switched to a new electronic health record.
The Lawrenceville, Illinois hospital launched Epic October 18th. It puts patient information in one secure place and connects LCMH with Deaconess and other hospitals that use Epic.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jacob Lennert says doctors can now instantly view outside consults, labs, imaging and medications — a process that used to take weeks.
Patients also get MyChart to view results, message their care team.
