The Indiana Department of Corrections executed Jeffrey Weisheit early this morning for the murders of eight-year-old Alyssa and five-year-old Caleb Lynch in 2010.
Weisheit was pronounced dead at 12:45 a.m. Central Standard Time at the Indiana State Prison in Michigan City, and officials say he had no final words.
His last meal was barbecue ribs from Texas Corral along with a Mountain Dew to drink.
The two children were killed in a house fire at Weisheit’s home near Evansville.
