Suspicious Person Call Leads to Arrest of Princeton Man on Multiple Charges

The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says a Princeton man was arrested on multiple charges Monday afternoon during an investigation of a suspicious person in the 2000 block of West 50 North.

43-year-old Matthew Greer was found on railroad right of way with a dirt bike.

When a deputy began to pat down Greer for weapons, Greer fled on foot.

He was apprehended following a brief chase and resisting deputies.

Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia were found on Greer.

He is facing charges of Resisting Law Enforcement Fleeing, Resisting Law Enforcement Fighting, Trespassing, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
