The Washington Street Department says temporary no parking restrictions have been placed on the North side of Southside Avenue from Northeast 3rd to Meridian and sections of Harned Avenue due to the US 50 project.
The city says it understands this is difficult for residents in the area but is necessary for traffic flow and safety.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area when possible and be on the lookout for pedestrians and construction workers.
