Former Dubois County Sheriff Terry Tanner has passed away.
The Sheriff’s Office announced that he died last week with his family by his side.
The 79-year-old Tanner served at the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office for 36 years.
He held the position of Chief Deputy Sheriff for 12 years, served three terms as Sheriff, and was President of the Indiana Sheriff’s Association.
