Knox County’s New Community Corrections Facility Opens Monday, Just in Time

More than a hundred men and women were released from the Knox County Community Corrections Center near the beginning of April.

All the Community Corrections’ offenders were sent home with GPS ankle monitors.

Officials say it was the result of a major water leak, leaving the building with no water.

The new Community Corrections Center opens Monday.

Offenders released will be required to return to the new facility Monday.

An open house for the new facility was held Sunday.
