A fatal collision occurred on Evansville’s west side last night, resulting in the death of a pedestrian and the arrest of Romance Williams.
Before 9:30 p.m. on Monday, a Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Deputy observed Williams driving at a high speed on West Franklin Street. Williams collided with a pedestrian at the intersection of North 4th Avenue.
Williams sustained minor injuries and was arrested for driving under the influence and reckless homicide.
