A Dubois Circuit Court judge handed down a 12-year sentence this week for a Holland man who had earlier pleaded guilty to six counts of Possession of Child Sex Abuse Material.
As part of a negotiated plea agreement, 21-year-old Roy Stearns will serve seven years of the sentence at the Indiana Department of Correction and the remaining five years on supervised probation.
Upon his released, Stearns will be required to register as a sex offender for a period of 10 years.
