The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office says an Oakland City man is facing drug charges following a sex offender registry compliance check Saturday at the Diplomat Motel on South State Road 57.
Upon arriving at the motel room deputies smelled burnt Marijuana coming from inside when 39-year-old Brian Dillard opened the door.
During the investigation, Dillard became argumentative and physically resisted law enforcement when they attempted to stop him from leaving.
After a brief struggle, Dillard was taken into custody and charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Hypodermic Needles, and Resisting Law Enforcement.
