Vincennes Police say a Mobile Alabama couple is facing charges in connection with a fundraising scam.
Police say 37-year-old Amanda Peyregne and 47-year-old Andrew Peyregne accompanied children, dressed in football gear, claiming to be fundraising for football equipment.
Each is facing two preliminary counts of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and two counts of Theft.
Both are being held without bond in the Knox County Jail.
