Deaconess Health System plans to build a new cancer center on its Gateway campus in Warrick County, with a target opening in 2028.
The Cinelli Cancer Center will cost more than $150 million and bring cancer care into one place, so patients don’t have to travel between different offices for treatment, testing, and support.
Doctors, surgeons, nurses, and other specialists will work together in the same building.
The center will also offer screenings, treatment, rehab, and support services like counseling and nutrition help.
More than $35 million has already been donated, including a major gift from the Cinelli family, who the center is named after.
