The Indiana Department of Natural Resources says this Sunday will be a “Free Fishing Day” on the state’s public waterways.
Indiana residents can fish in public waters without a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp.
The “Free Fishing Days” provide an excellent opportunity to learn to fish on your own, with family or friends, or simply try something new.
In addition to this Sunday, “Free Fishing Days” are scheduled for June 6th and 7th, and September 26th.
