The City of Boonville is ending its agreement with Veolia and plans to take over water, wastewater, and street services with a new city-run department.
The Board of Public Works voted to recommend canceling the contract, and City Council members say they support the move.
The mayor says there have been ongoing concerns with Veolia’s service.
Veolia Water North America has run Boonville’s water and wastewater systems since 1995 and also handles street maintenance inside the city.
