A Sullivan man died Friday morning in a head on collision on US 41 near Old Highway 54 in Sullivan County.
Indiana State Police say their preliminary investigation shows that 59-year-old Bradley Galenski was driving southbound in the northbound lanes of US 41 when he collided head on with a semi driven by 71-year-old Clarence Mackey of Alapaha, Georgia.
Police say Mackey saw the truck coming and attempted an evasive driving maneuver but was unable to avoid a collision.
Galenski was ejected from his vehicle which traveled off the roadway and rolled onto its side before coming to a stop.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Drug and alcohol testing are pending.
