Cooling Centers Available in Vincennes During Extreme Heat

During the extreme heat, several Vincennes organizations are offering safe, air-conditioned spaces for residents to cool off.
Visit these cooling centers during normal operating hours:

· The First City Sunrise Shelter

· The Knox Co. Public Library at 502 North Seventh Street

· The STOA at 418 Main Street (next to the Pocket Park)

· Thursday Church at 218 Main Street.

· And the Margaret Compton Center at 509 North 7th Street.
