A Dubois Superior Court Judge Sentenced a Crawford County man to six years in prison Friday as part of a negotiated plea agreement on several charges.
36-year-old Kyle Schepers of English had earlier agreed to plead guilty to felony charges of Operating a Vehicle as a Habitual Traffic Violator, Intimidation, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Serious Violent Felon.
The Dubois County Prosecutor’s Office says testimony during the sentencing hearing focused Schepers’s intimidation charge, in which he was alleged to have threatened to shoot a Jasper Police officer.
