A two-year-old Pike County girl is the first known child in the U.S. diagnosed with an extremely rare genetic disorder called Rajab Syndrome.

Doctors say only about 10 cases of the condition have been identified worldwide.

Wrenley Lantaff’s family noticed early signs, including trouble eating, frequent vomiting and slow weight gain.

After her stomach became swollen in October 2025, Wrenley was taken to the hospital and later flown to Louisville, where doctors diagnosed the condition.
